A Twisted Tale (2024) is an extended technique voice piece for solo baritone and theatrics, originally written for UNT’s Composer’s Forum 24/24 event. The piece tells a humorous, jumbled fairytale where Little Red Riding Hood, the city mayor, is attempting to eminent domain the land where The Three Little Pigs have built their houses. Little Red hires the Big Bad Wolf (aka Wolfgang) to destroy their houses, but will he have enough time to stop her when he learns of her villainous plans?
